Spain

7 Months in Spain aka the best time of my life.

When telling people about my plan to do an Erasmus in Valencia, I got the response of "oh that's going to be a party semester" quite often. But I never ever thought it will turn out that crazy. It was like living in a big Erasmus bubble; you knew all the other exchange students and together you just enjoyed life - big times. It seemed that nothing else matters anymore, we just had fun and lots of it. We didn't care about anything outside this bubble, somehow magic happened and we were energised for days - no matter if we partyed  all week long - hangover didn't exist. Right now, I could never ever imagine myself drinking or staying awake two days in a row - I would die, literally.

I will never be able to express what I felt during those months, which is why I'm more than glad that I count plenty people, who shared this experience with me, to my friends.

Spain now feels like a second home to me. I think I actually saw more of that country that I've seen from Germany.

2 Days in Lisbon

I have to say after seeing that many impressive cities around the world I have quite high expectations to city trips, but I can say Lisbon fulfilled it 100%! I totally felt in love with the city and would go as far as saying its within my top 5 European cities (maybe even top 3 but let's not exaggerate at this point haha). It has the whole package: the big city vibe, the summer flair with the perfect weather (it was sunny, around 26 degrees, a bit windy, not too hot and not too cold, the modern aspect, the historical, culural, Portuguese side, the shopping possibilities, the super delicious food, very open and kind people, the international atmosphere and the nightlife - all just comes together in Lisbon. Food Did you ever think about typical porugese food? Well I didn't and apparently most of their traditional food involves pork. Since I'm anything else than a fan of any kind of meat I haven't had any expectations on trying typical portugese food. But as usual ...

Student Life at AAU

Alles in allem sehr verwirrend. Noch dazu ändert sich der Stundenplan von Woche zu Woche - noch verwirrender. Aber ich habe immer Montags frei und immer Freitag...

Winnie OUT!

Adios Aalborg, hello Berlin! It's time to say the final good bye to Denmark and turn the page in the book of life. Get a life update in the following post. Enjoy! - Deutsche Version weiter unten - So this is it, my Denmark experience is officially over. As most of you know, I was never really a fan of Aalborg... or Denmark (gooosh that wind), but yeah surprisingly I do have mixed feelings about leaving for good now. After all, this experiences did have its good sites; starting with the fact that the I’ve met this one Bulgarian guy, who I now move to Berlin with (more about that later). Then there was the job in an incredibly awesome company with the most amazing colleagues ever. Like seriously, who would have thought that I will actually end up having a proper job in Marketing for almost a year when I came to DK? I remember me saying “I’ll probably do some cleaning job since I’m not speaking Danish”... I really can’t believe how lucky I am to have had thi...
