Trondheim is such a nice, calm, pretty city, but just have a look at the pictures...

Rockheim museum

This interactive museum is one of the coolest mueseums I've ever been to... You can easily spend up to 4 hours there, discovering Norways music scene over the centuries. When being there I played the Bass for the first time in my life, I was deejaying, part of a band.... Don't forget to bring your student ID to get a discount.

Nidarosdom

A huuuge and impressive cathedrale, which is just overwhelming if you stand right in front of it. To enter the building an entrance fee is aquired, however the viewing the place from the outside is of course for free.

Kristiansen Fortress (Festning)

Located on a hill you can get a very nice view over Trondheim. A nice spot for watching the Northern Lights if you're lucky enough...

Tyholttårnet

The Pizza Tower was definately one of our favorite things in Trondheim. This tower is actually a restaurant, where you can get all you can eat pizza for only 12 Euros... Plus the restaurant itself is rotating so you really get spectacular views over the entire city...

Stiftsgården

Stiftsgården is the royal residence in Trondheim and made out of wood - well quite nice to see.

The weirdness of Denmark

- English version below - Hallo Freunde der Sonne, gestern als ich zur International Night im Studenthuset war (wie mittlerweile jeden Mittwoch), wurde ich doch glatt darauf hingewiesen, dass ich einen neuen Blogpost schreiben soll, also: here we are. Mittlerweile bin ich seit über einem Monat hier.... ihr erwartet jetzt bestimmt einen Satz wie "krass wie schnell die Zeit vergeht" aber möööp falsch ich würde eher sagen "fühlt sich viel länger an", kann jetzt entweder daran liegen, dass ich so unglaublich viel erlebt habe in diesen ersten Tagen oder auch am Fakt, dass ich an unifreien Tagen doch viel Langeweile habe... wie auch immer, im heutigen Post muss ich euch einfach erzählen was für crazy Dinge hier in Dänemark geschehen und daher der Hinweis: ich übertreibe nicht und erzähle wirklich die Wahrheit! :D P.S. Student Life at AAU

- English version below - Hallihallo, schön, dass Ihr Euch anscheinend immer noch für mein Leben hier interessiert :) Heutiger Post wird sich mit meinen ersten Uni-Tagen und meinem sozialen Leben beschäftigen... Aalborg University Offiziell begann mein Studium am 02. September (einem Freitag - warum weiß niemand). Aber es gab kostenlos Kuchen und Kaffee - bei einem solchen Service beschwere ich mich nicht über einen Freitag in der Uni :) Es ging erstmal nur um die Struktur des Studiums, ein Einführungstag sozusagen. Und die Einführung war bitter nötig! Man kann theoretisch in 1000 verschiedenen Wegen seinen Abschluss machen. Man kann sich spezialisieren - muss man aber nicht, man kann ein Nebenfach machen - muss man aber nicht. Man kann eine zusätzliche Hausarbeit schreiben - muss man aber nicht. Alles in allem sehr verwirrend. Noch dazu ändert sich der Stundenplan von Woche zu Woche - noch verwirrender. Aber ich habe immer Montags frei und immer Freitag...

2 Days in Lisbon

I have to say after seeing that many impressive cities around the world I have quite high expectations to city trips, but I can say Lisbon fulfilled it 100%! I totally felt in love with the city and would go as far as saying its within my top 5 European cities (maybe even top 3 but let's not exaggerate at this point haha). It has the whole package: the big city vibe, the summer flair with the perfect weather (it was sunny, around 26 degrees, a bit windy, not too hot and not too cold, the modern aspect, the historical, culural, Portuguese side, the shopping possibilities, the super delicious food, very open and kind people, the international atmosphere and the nightlife - all just comes together in Lisbon. Food Did you ever think about typical porugese food? Well I didn't and apparently most of their traditional food involves pork. Since I'm anything else than a fan of any kind of meat I haven't had any expectations on trying typical portugese food. But as usual ...
